Kansas Soccer Tickets On Sale Now

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Single-match and season tickets for the 2006 University of Kansas soccer season are on sale now. KU will play nine home matches at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex including five against Big 12 foes.

Season tickets are $40 for adults, $32 for faculty and staff, and $20 for youth (17 and under) and senior citizens (55 and over). Single-match tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for youth and $2 for groups of 20 or more. KU students get in free with their KUID.

The 2006 slate begins on Aug. 25 with a match against Furman and on Aug. 27 with a match up against Loyola-Marymount. KU will then face two tough non-conference opponents – Pepperdine and Central Florida – on Sept. 15 and 17, respectively.

The Jayhawks open their home Big 12 schedule by hosting Texas on Oct. 6 and defending conference champion Texas A&M on Oct. 8. Kansas will play its final three regular season matches at home against Baylor (Oct. 20), Texas Tech (Oct. 22 and Colorado (Oct. 27).
