IRVINE, Calif. –

Former Kansas swimmer Danielle Herrmann and current swimmers Brooke Brull, Shannon Garlie and Joy Bunting took 18th in the 4×100 meter freestyle relay on the second day of the 2010 ConocoPhillips National Championships in Irvine, Calif. The team, representing Kansas Aquatics, recorded a time of 3:55.05.

Junior Abigail Anderson also competed in the 100-meter backstroke, placing 116th with a personal-best time of 1:06.76.

“Today was another good day for the Jayhawks in Irvine,” Kansas head coach Clark Campbell said. “Abi’s 100 backstroke was a new best time, and the top 20 finish in the 400 freestyle relay was a great way to end the session.”
