LAWRENCE, Kan. –

After practice on Tuesday morning, Kansas football players and coaches met with the media as the Jayhawks held their annual media day Tuesday afternoon.

The Jayhawks will hold two practices open to the public during training camp. Fans can watch the Jayhawks workout on Friday, August 8 and Friday, August 15. Both practices are scheduled for 9 a.m.

Kansas fans will also have an opportunity to meet the Jayhawks when the program holds Fan Appreciation Day after practice on Wednesday, August 20. The event will take place at Memorial Stadium.

The Jayhawks will open the 2008 campaign hosting Florida International on Saturday, August 30 at 6 p.m. Tickets are available through KU’s website at www.kuathletics.com.
