Soccer to Host Free Clinic

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Following Kansas soccer’s season-opening exhibition game versus Butler on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m., the Jayhawks will hold a free youth soccer clinic immediately after the match at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.

The clinic, which will last about 45 minutes, is open to children of all ages. The brief instructional session will cover basic soccer skills under the direction of current KU players and coaches. Reservations are not required.

Admission into Sunday’s exhibition contest is $8 for adults and $5 for senior citizens 55 and older as well as youth ages 5-17.
