The 2015 home game for Rutgers is scheduled for Sept. 26, in High Point Solutions Stadium, while the Jayhawks will host a return game with the Scarlet Knights here in Memorial Stadium on Sept. 15, 2018.

“Having grown up in Middlesex (N.J.) I was intrigued to hear we were in discussions to play Rutgers,” said Kansas head coach Charlie Weis. “I have always pulled for people from New Jersey, including the State University, Rutgers. I am excited about this home-and-home series, although I’m afraid of how many tickets I’m going to have to purchase!”

Kansas’ game at Rutgers will mark its 20th in program history versus current members of the Big EAST Conference. The last series with a Big East team was a 2006/2008 series with South Florida with the home team prevailing in each game. KU defeated USF, 13-7, in Lawrence on Sept. 23, 2006 and the Bulls came away with a 37-34 win over the Jayhawks on Sept. 12, 2008.KU will open the 2012 season on Saturday, Sept. 1 with a home game versus South Dakota State. The Jayhawks and Jackrabbits will kick-off at 6 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 800-34-HAWKS or by visiting the KU tickets office at kuathletics.com.
