Aug. 10, 2010

This is the fourth installment in our series featuring former Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing discussing his new book, “Rising to New Heights, Inside the Jayhawks Huddle”.

In today’s video segment, Reesing discusses meeting new KU Head Football Coach Gill and Reesing’s optimism for the future of the KU football program.

Fans can order “Rising to New Heights” from kustore.com by clicking here.

In the book, Reesing recalls KU’s magical 2007 Orange Bowl season, the 2008 season, which included a second consecutive bowl trip for the first time in school history, and the ups and downs of his senior season. He wrote the book with former Kansas City Star reporter Kent Pulliam. It includes a foreword by KU and NFL quarterback legend John Hadl, a game-by-game compilation of Reesing’s career, a “Best-of” section and an inside look at a college football season.

Reesing, completed his KU career last fall as the school’s all-time leader in almost every passing and total offense category. Pulliam spent more than 30 years as a sports journalist for the Kansas City Star.
