Jayhawks Ranked #1 by ESPN's Dick Vitale

ESPN commentator Dick Vitale has ranked the Kansas Jayhawks Number One in the country in his annual men’s college basketball preseason poll.

“Bill Self’s team is led by Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins,” Vitale wrote, “two members of my All Rolls-Royce first team. The Jayhawks are loaded with the Morris twins, Tyshawn Taylor and newcomer Xavier Henry.”

Vitale also ranked other Big 12 teams in his Top 40: Texas #4, Oklahoma #21, Oklahoma State #30 and Texas A&M #32.
