ESPNU to Hold KU Cram Session

Gear up Jayhawk fans! Coinciding with the start of another school year, ESPNU, a member of the ESPN family of networks, will be holding a KU cram session on Wednesday, Aug. 16. A cram session is a block of programming dedicated to showcasing the best Kansas games of the past year. All times are ET.

The following are the events scheduled to be shown during the Kansas cram session:

5:00 a.m.-6:45 a.m. Kentucky at Kansas Basketball Jan. 7, 2006
6:45 a.m.-8:30 a.m. Kansas vs. Oklahoma St. Basketball March 10, 2006
8:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m Nebraska vs. Kansas Basketball March 11, 2006
10:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Kansas vs. Texas Basketball March 12, 2006
3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Kansas vs. Houston Football Dec. 23, 2005

Kansas kicks off the 2006 football season when it hosts Northwestern State on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Memorial Stadium. Kansas fans have a number of ways to purchase tickets for what is sure to be another exciting season of Jayhawk football.

Flex Packs offer Jayhawk fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to three home games that fit their schedule. Fans can select one non-conference game (Northwestern State, Louisiana Monroe or South Florida) and two Big 12 Conference games (Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Colorado and Kansas State) and get the best available seats for those games. The Flex Packs are $99 each.

Single-game tickets are also available for purchase. The price of tickets for games against Northwestern State (Sept. 2), Louisiana Monroe (Sept. 9) and South Florida (Sept. 23) are $35 each. All three games begin at 6 p.m. in Memorial Stadium. Tickets for conference games against Texas A&M (Oct. 7), Oklahoma State (Oct. 18) and Colorado (Oct. 28) are priced at $45 each. The Kansas State game (Nov. 18) is priced at $65.

Fans can also purchase group tickets to Jayhawk home games. Groups of 25 or more will receive $10 off the price of a single-game ticket. At this time, group tickets are not available for the Kansas State game.

Season tickets are still available for the 2006 Jayhawk football campaign. Public season tickets are $225. Faculty-staff season tickets are $180 and recent graduate packages are $150 (2004-06 graduation date). Family-Zone packages are also available for $300. The Family-Zone, located in the north bowl, includes two adult and two youth general admission tickets.
