Kansas Baseball to Hold Open Tryouts

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The University of Kansas baseball team will hold open tryouts to fill the roster for the upcoming 2008 season. An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 30 in the West Conference Room of the <?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>AndersonStrengthCenter (second floor) at 4 p.m. <?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

All interested persons should plan to attend this meeting with a proof of medical insurance, a recently completed physical (within the last six months) and a completed packet of forms. Forms may be picked up prior to meeting in Allen Fieldhouse Room 220.

The Jayhawks will start their fall season on Sept. 1, and play an exhibition game against the Croatian National Team on Sept. 2 at 5 p.m.
