LAWRENCE, Kan. – Spirit Day 2011 will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, it was announced by Catherine “Cat” Jarzemkoski, University of Kansas Spirit Squad Coordinator.

Participants will cheer on the Jayhawks with KU’s Cheerleaders and Rock Chalk Dancers inside Memorial Stadium for the first half of the football game versus Texas Tech. The game’s kickoff time has not yet been announced.
