Jayhawks' First Three Football Games To Be Televised

082212aaa_862_6419943.jpegLAWRENCE, Kan. – The Big 12 Conference released the television broadcast assignments for the first three weeks of the 2012 college football season, with Kansas being tabbed for television in each of the three weeks.

Kansas, playing under first-year head coach Charlie Weis, will open the 2012 football season with three-straight home games versus South Dakota State, Rice and new Big 12 member TCU. The Jayhawks’ season opener versus South Dakota State will air on the Jayhawk IMG TV Network. Next up, KU will host Rice in a game to be nationally broadcast by Fox Sports Net (FSN). In week three, Kansas will welcome TCU to the conference with a nationally televised game versus the Horned Frogs on FX.

Kansas made five appearances on FSN in 2011 and is making its first-ever appearance on FX.
