Kansas to Provide Additional Points for Football Season Ticket Holders

LAWRENCE, Kan. – University of Kansas football season-ticket holders will gain five permanent Williams Educational Fund points for purchasing 2004 season tickets, university officials announced Friday. The offer includes a cap of 20 points for four tickets purchased.

For those who have already purchased football season tickets, an additional five priority points per ticket will be added to their total. This offer is also available to anyone who purchases KU football tickets between now and August 31, 2004.

“To those of you who have purchased season tickets to our athletics programs, thank you very much,” KU Director of Athletics Lew Perkins said. “I want to especially thank those of you who have purchased football tickets. Your support is extremely important to us.”

Long regarded as one of the finest athletic fund-raising programs in the country, the Williams Educational Fund is made up of alumni, friends, and fans of Kansas Athletics. Comprised of more than 4,200 members, the Williams Fund helps provide the necessary funding to compete at the national level, and also helps attract and retain the finest coaches and student-athletes to the University of Kansas.
