Tennis Releases 2005-06 Schedule

Lawrence, Kan. Matches versus seven 2005 NCAA Tournament teams, including national runner-up Texas, highlight the 2005-06 University of Kansas tennis schedule.
Kansas will open its fall season September 16th when it travels to Tulsa, Okla. for the Tulsa Invitational. Three more tournaments, including the ITA Central Regionals, round out the fall-2005 slate.
The spring portion of the schedule, which is set to begin at Indiana on January 22nd, features 23 opponents, including home matches with 2005 top-25 Baylor and Border Showdown rival Missouri.
“We are very excited with our schedule for the upcoming season,” head coach Amy Hall-Holt said. “It is a very strong and competitive schedule. It will test our team and should prepare us well for postseason play.”
The postseason will begin with the 2006 Big 12 Tournament in Waco, Texas April 27-30, and the NCAA Tournament is set to start May 12th.
