Kansas Football To Hold Fan Appreciation Day Wednesday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will hold Fan Appreciation Day at Kivisto Field at Memorial Stadium on Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m.
Jayhawk fans will be admitted free to the stadium to watch the team practice. Selected players will be available to sign autographs after the workout, which is scheduled to finish at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Fans are asked to park and enter the stadium and sit on the west side. Concession stands will be open on the lower west side and the Fun Zone will be open at 4 p.m. just south of the Anderson Family Football Complex. Tickets for the 2009 season will also be on sale at the event.
Kansas will open the 2009 season hosting Northern Colorado on Sept. 5 at 6 p.m.
