Kansas Football Family Zone Sold Out for 2009; Unique Ticket Packages Still Available

Aug. 24, 2009

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas Athletics has introduced new, affordable, and unique ticket packages for the 2009 football season that treat fans to flexibility and convenience. The release of these plans coincides with the sellout (for the second-straight season) of the popular Perkins Restaurant Family Zone season ticket package.

Fans purchasing selected ticket packages can use KU’s new automated payment plan, which allows fans to spread out their payments over several months. (The payment plan option is only available on packages ordered before football game day.)

The new plans include:

All the ‘Hawks you can Watch!

The “All The Hawks You Can Watch” package allows Jayhawk fans a unique and flexible package for the fall. From September 4 through October 4, fans can attend all KU Athletics events for a flat fee of just $99. During that time fans will have the opportunity to take in three home football games, four home soccer games, and five home volleyball matches.

The Kansas Football Season Ticket Test Drive

With busy schedules, it’s difficult for some fans to commit to an entire season. However, the Jayhawk Season Ticket Test Drive package allows fans the opportunity to attend the first three home football games for just $99. If fans want to continue the Kansas Football experience for the rest of the season, they can purchase the remaining three games for just $199.

Saturdays in September Pack

For each of the first three games in September, the September Saturday Pack offers fans the ability to purchase four tickets for just $100.

Phog Football Pack

Fans wishing to be a part of the first four home football games and see the 2009-10 men’s and women’s basketball teams make their season debut cannot miss the Phog Football Pack. For just $150, fans will receive a ticket to Northern Colorado (9/5), Duke (9/19), Southern Mississippi (9/26), the homecoming game vs. Iowa State (10/10), and be guaranteed an exclusive reserved seat to Late Night in the Phog (10/16).

Group Tickets:

Kansas Athletics also announced group ticket prices for the first four non-conference football games. Groups of 20 or more can save $20 off the reserved ticket price. For more information fans can contact Kansas Athletics at 785-864-6189 or email groupsales@ku.edu.

Earlier Packages Still Available:

  • Season tickets for the six-game home football schedule are $300.
  • The Crimson Zone season ticket, introduced earlier this year, is available in Section 1 or 2 for just $225.
  • The inaugural “Rock” and “Chalk” half-season packages are just $150. The “Rock” package includes tickets to Duke, Iowa State and Oklahoma, while the “Chalk” package includes the Duke, Southern Miss. and Nebraska games.
  • Single-game tickets for the first four home games are also on sale. Nebraska and Oklahoma single game tickets are only available through season, half-season, or the new Jayhawk Season Ticket Test Drive package.

All season packages, half-season packages, the Kansas Football Test Drive, and the All the Hawks You Can Watch package are eligible for the automated payment plan, which allows fans to spread out their payments over several months.
