Jayhawk Juniors to Begin Sept. 9

LAWRENCE, Kan. – As the 2012 season gets underway, the Jayhawk Juniors program is also set to kick off its fall season, beginning Sept. 9.

The fall clinics will be held every Sunday in September (9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th) Each session will consist of all age groups (K-8th), and will run from 6:00-7:15 p.m. each night. The athletes will be engaged in basic to complex skill development according to age.

The camps will be ran by the Jayhawks’ new Volunteer Assistant Wendel Camargo as well as assistant coaches Laura “Bird” Kuhn and Todd Chamberlain. Guest coaches, including former and current Kansas players, will also be assisting with various camps.

Registration will be available online (JayhawkJuniors.com), or campers can pay at the door on the first night of the clinic upon arrival at the Horejsi Family Athletic Center (KU Volleyball Gym). Please make checks payable to Todd Chamberlain.
