Kansas Rowing Announces 2004-05 Schedule

Aug. 25, 2004

University of Kansas head rowing coach Rob Catloth announced another challenging schedule for the Jayhawks in 2004-05. Kansas will travel to Oklahoma, Illinois, Iowa, Georgia and then finish up the fall season in Lawrence with the Sunflower Showdown against Kansas State.

Kansas will also face Texas in Austin in its spring opener in March and will host a second home regatta against Tulsa and Drake in April. To prepare for the spring season that Jayhawks will return form Christmas break early and travel to Ausitn, Texas for winter training and follow up with spring training in Lawrence in March.

“Our schedule is pretty similar to last season. We still have a tough challenge in the Big 12, especially with Texas,” Catloth said. “We lost a lot of seniors, but we still have a strong group of returning varsity members. We should have pretty good depth this season throughout the team.”
