Quarterback Club Kicks Off Thursday At Downtown Block Party

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The first KU Quarterback Club meeting is being held Thursday, Sept. 2 in conjunction with the Dowtown Block Party on Massachusetts Street to kick off football season.

The 1000 block of Mass. Street will be closed to traffic from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to accomodate the celebration.

The first Quarterback Club meeting will feature a live remote of ‘Rock Chalk Sports Talk’ with Todd Reesing and David Lawrence. The second meeting, Thursday Sept. 9, will feature former all-conference linebacker and Orange Bowl captain Banks Floodman.
