Jayhawks Looking for Fourth Straight Win Sunday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas soccer will try for its third-consecutive shutout when the Jayhawks host Arizona State at 1 p.m., Sunday at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.
Fans in attendance will be admitted for just $3 when they present a ticket stub from the Kansas-South Dakota State football game. Members of the Kansas soccer team will be made available for autographs following the match.
Kansas is coming off its third shutout of the year, a 3-0 victory over the Creighton Bluejays Friday, which improved the Jayhawks to 4-1 this season. Kansas freshman Ashley Williams scored a pair of goals and added an assist, while senior goalkeeper Kat Liebetrau earned her 11th-career shutout.
Kansas leads the all-time series with Arizona State, 1-0, with the only meeting coming on Aug. 30, 2009 in Knoxville, Tenn., a 1-0 Jayhawk victory.
Fans that cannot make it out to the pitch Sunday will be able to watch and listen to the Jayhawks on AT&T All-Access and follow on Twitter at ku_soccer.
