Lawrence, Kan. – No. 17 Kansas soccer will take the field for the first time at home this season as it hosts the 2004 KUStore.com Crimson & Blue Invitational Friday and Sunday at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.

Kansas (2-0) enters the tournament after defeating UNLV and BYU on the road last weekend to kick off the 2004 season. Senior goalkeeper Meghan Miller shined on the road trip, and collected a pair of shutouts. For her efforts, Miller was selected as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.

In addition to the Jayhawks, the tournament field includes the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers, the Saint Louis Billikens and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The tournament will feature a pair of games on Friday and two more matches to conclude the tournament on Sunday afternoon.
