More than 40 employers from a variety of industries will take part in Career Development Night Monday, Sept. 26 in the Booth Family Hall of Athletics adjacent to Allen Fieldhouse.

The evening will feature interactive career preparation stations including professional attire tips, hair and make-up advice for the workplace, tie-tying and resume and interviewing hints, plus hors dʼoeuvres.

“We are so excited for our student-athletes to have an opportunity to meet and mingle with so many diverse companies on the 26th,” Director of Career Services Kelly Watson Muther said. “Many of the university’s career fairs occur during practice times, making it difficult for our student-athletes to participate, so we hope our kids will take advantage of interacting with top recruiters in the area during times that work with their crazy schedules.”

Student-athletes are encouraged to pre-register for the event by clicking the link above or emailing Kelly Watson Muther (kwmku.edu). Student-athletes are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resume as many employers will be accepting paper copies throughout the evening.
