Kansas to Play Host to NC State Sunday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas soccer will look to extend their unbeaten streak to six games when it welcomes the North Carolina State Wolfpack to the Jayhawk Soccer Complex Sunday at noon.

Fans in attendance will be admitted for just $3 when they present a ticket stub from the Kansas-Rice football game. Members of the Kansas soccer team will also be made available for autographs following the match.

The Jayhawks are coming off a dominating 4-1 win over the Missouri State Bears Friday to extend their unbeaten streak to five games. Junior Caroline Kastor earned her first career multi-goal game and added an assist while freshman Ashley Williams put in her league-leading sixth goal.

Kansas will take the pitch against the Wolfpack for the first time in program history. The Jayhawks are 3-3 against teams in Atlantic Coast Conference.

KU returns will return to action Sept. 14 when it takes on Denver at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex. The Jayhawks will face the Pioneers at 5 p.m.
