TULSA, Okla. – Kansas’ women’s golf finished the first round of the Dale McNamara Invitational in 12th place with a score of 313 at The Patriot Golf Club in Tulsa, Okla., Monday.

Freshman Nadia Luttner led the way for the Jayhawks with a round of 74 to finish tied for 14th place among individuals.

Senior Katy Nugent and sophomore Meghan Potee both shot 79 and are tied for 49th through one round.

Sophomore Thanuttra Boonraksasat is tied for 62nd after shooting an 81 while freshmen Michelle Woods shot an 85 and finished 73rd in her first round as a Jayhawk.

Arizona State leads the tournament after one round of play with a score of 280. Second place Oklahoma State stands 14 strokes behind with a 294, while Middle Tennessee sits in third place with a 298. Arizona State’s Giulia Molinaro leads all individuals with a first round score of 67.

Kansas will compete in the second round on Tuesday morning.
