2004-05 Kansas Men's Basketball Schedule Times and Television Coverage Set

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Five games on major over-the-air networks and 10 on ESPN/ESPN2 highlight the Kansas men’s basketball schedule as KU officials released its tip times and television coverage for the 2004-05 season Thursday.

One game from the original schedule was moved for television as Kansas will play host to TCU on Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. (Central) on ESPN. The game was originally scheduled for Dec. 8. As a result, the KU women’s game against Western Illinois has been moved to Dec. 8 at Allen Fieldhouse.

Three games will air on CBS starting with KU’s first road game of the season Jan. 9 at Kentucky. That contest will tip at either 12:30 or 3 p.m. depending on the NFL Wild Card playoff contest. Additionally, CBS appearances for the Jayhawks will be against Oklahoma State on Feb. 27 (3 p.m.) at Allen Fieldhouse and at Missouri on March 6 at 1 p.m.

ABC has picked up two Kansas home games with Colorado on Feb. 12 and Iowa State on Feb. 19. ESPN and ESPN2 will air 10 Kansas games throughout the season. KU’s Jan. 29 game versus Texas will feature ESPN’s College Game Night which is a spin off of ESPN’s College Game Day in football. There will be three contests on the Big 12/ESPN Regional package in addition to its 11 other contests on the Jayhawk Television Network.
