Kansas At Baylor Football To Kickoff At 11 a.m. On FSN, Oct. 2

LAWRENCE, Kan. – FSN will televise the Kansas at Baylor football game on Saturday, Oct. 2 with kickoff slated for 11 a.m. The game is the Big 12 opener for both teams.

KU and Baylor will be meeting for the 10th time in history and the Bears hold a narrow 5-4 advantage. The teams have split the six games since the Big 12 Conference was formed in 1996. KU is 0-4 in games played at Waco, Texas. However, the Jayhawks won the last meeting between the schools – a 58-10 victory at Lawrence in 2007.

Baylor enters this week’s game at Rice with a 2-1 record after defeating Sam Houston State and Buffalo and losing at TCU.

Kansas is 1-2 and will host New Mexico State Saturday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at www.kutickets.com, 1-800-34-HAWKS or at the Allen Fieldhouse ticket office.
