Kansas and South Florida Tied 0-0 at Halftime

LAWRENCE, Kan. – In a defensive battle, the Kansas Jayhawks and South Florida Bulls are tied 0-0 at halftime in Memorial Stadium.

USF made the field long for Kansas as KU’s first three possessions started inside its own five yard line. KU outgained USF 219-166 in the first half, which included a 97-yard drive midway through the second quarter.

KU senior quarterback Adam Barmann received his first start of the season and 14th of his career. The Weston, Mo., native went 17-for-23 in the opening half for 169 yards. Barmann hit seven different receivers in the opening stanza.
