“Fall ball” is highlighted by Parent Weekend (Oct. 6-8), which includes a K-Day Golf outing on Oct. 6 and an alumni game on Oct. 7. The alumni game will pit the current team against several former players in an exhibition contest beginning at 4 p.m., at Hoglund Ballpark. The game is open to the public.

The Jayhawks return 21 letterwinners and five position starters from last year’s squad which finished 43-25 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Fall ball will give the 13 newcomers on the roster an opportunity to prove themselves.

The Jayhawks will conclude the fall practice schedule on Oct. 22.
