Kansas To Host Iowa State at 11:30 a.m.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football’s Big 12 Conference opener and homecoming game against Iowa State on Oct. 10 will kickoff at 11:30 a.m. and be televised on Versus, it was announced Monday.

The early kickoff will mark KU’s third straight pre-noon start this season.

Kansas is ranked No. 18 in the Associated Press and No. 16 in the USA Today/Coaches Polls this week. KU is one of just 13 teams in the country with a 4-0 record and its six-game winning streak dating back to last year is the fourth-longest in the nation.

The Jayhawks have a bye week while Iowa State is meeting Kansas State at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 3.
