Kansas Rowing Finishes Day One at the Head of the Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Kansas rowing started its Fall season competing in the first day at the Head of the Oklahoma. The team entered boats in the Varsity Four, Open Double and Novice Eight.

Kansas came away with a second-place finish in the Novice Eight race with a time of 0:15:43. The three Varsity Four boats finished third, fifth and fourteenth with times of 0:15:43, 00:16.03 and 00:16:56, respectively.

Kansas will continue its run at the Head of the Oklahoma on Sunday, Oct. 2. Races begin at 9:00 a.m. (CST).
