Heading to the Classic for KU will be junior Yuliana Svistun, sophomore Kunigunda Dorn, and freshmen Maria Martinez and Mymee Tokuda. Senior Elizaveta Avdeeva and junior Edina Horvath will not travel with the squad after spending the last week playing in the ITA All-American Championships.

Of the four Jayhawks that will compete at the tournament, Svistun had the most success at Kansas’ season-opening Cissie Leary Tournament. The Ufa, Russia native went 3-1 in singles play and also picked up a doubles win teamed with Dorn.
