Kansas To Host Top-Ranked Sooners on ESPN2 Oct. 15

LAWRENCE, Kan. – ESPN2 will televise the Kansas football game against top-ranked Oklahoma at 8:15 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 15 it was announced Monday morning.
The game marks the fourth Jayhawk game to be televised this season and the first Kansas game to be played in ESPN2 in 2011. Kansas last appeared on ESPN2 on Oct. 11, 2008 in a win over Colorado in Lawrence. The Jayhawks played on ESPN one time in 2010 and made two appearances on ESPN2 and one on ESPN in 2008. KU had one appearance each on ESPN and ESPN2 in 2007. KU is 3-3 all-time in games played on ESPN2.
In 2011, Kansas has appeared on Fox Sports Net in a game at Georgia Tech and in its last outing at home versus Texas Tech. KU played on Fox College Sports in its win over Northern Illinois.
The Jayhawks are traveling to No. 6/7 Oklahoma State Saturday, Oct. 8, before hosting the Sooners. KU enters the OSU game with a 2-2 mark with wins over McNeese State and Northern Illinois and a loss at No. 24/25 Georgia Tech and at home to Texas Tech.
