Kansas Softball Holds Survivor Competition

Oct. 4, 2010

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Gathered under the field lights, the Kansas softball team held a survivor competition over the weekend at Arrocha Ballpark as part of its annual Rock Chalk Teams competition.

The players, who were broken up into four different teams, participated in several different challenges over the course of the evening. The challenges were centered around team building and points were awarded to the winning team, while creative points were also given out for a variety of other reasons.

At the end of the night, the Warhawks (Brittany Hile, Kelsey Alsdorf, Mariah Montgomery, Rosie Hull and Kendra Cullum) edged out Wheaties for the win. The teams concluded the evening with smores around an open fire.
