KU/K-State Match Sold Out
Kansas’ match against in-state rival Kansas State Wednesday night has been sold out, athletic department officials announced early Monday. The Horejsi Family Athletics Center will be at capacity for the second straight match after last week’s contest against Nebraska drew 1,305 fans.

A very limited amount of standing-room-only tickets may be available at the ticket window prior to the match. The Horejsi Center’s seating capacity is 1,300. Kansas ranks 28th in the nation in volleyball attendance with more than 888 fans per match.

Kansas State Preview
The 16th-ranked Wildcats ran their overall record to 10-4 and Big 12 mark to 4-1 last week with wins at Oklahoma (3-1) and against Iowa State (3-2). The win over the Cyclones marked K-State’s fifth straight and 21st consecutive victory in the Ahearn Fieldhouse.

Defending Big 12 champion Kansas State is a strong blocking and aggressive serving team. The Wildcats rank second in the league with 3.21 blocks per game and first with 1.94 aces per game — including an impressive 2.83 per game against Big 12 opponents.
