So far this fall, Bedford is 3-for-9 with three homeruns, while junior outfielder Brock Simpson is 7-for-11. On the mound, sophomore lefty Nick Czyz has allowed just two hits and has four strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work.

The team will be in action again on Friday, with another intrasquad scrimmage at 4 p.m., at Hoglund Ballpark.
