COLUMBIA, Mo.—Senior Grace Thiry finished tied for 27th and recorded the top finish for the Kansas women’s golf team for the third straight event as the Jayhawks finished eight overall at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo., on Tuesday.
Thiry carded rounds of 74, 74 and 79 to finish with a combined score of 227.
Meghna Bal and Jennifer Clark finished tied for 36th with a combined score of 229. Katy Nugent’s 231 was good for a tie for 44th place. Thanuttra Boonraksast finished tied for 45th with a three round score of 232.
Competing as an individual, freshman Meghan Potee finished tied for 58 with rounds of 78, 76 and 82.
Kansas will return to competition at Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational hosted by New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M., on Oct. 11, 12 and 13.
