KU Baseball to Host Parents/Alumni Weekend

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The University of Kansas baseball team will celebrate Homecoming at KU with its Parents/Alumni Weekend Friday through Sunday. The team will scrimmage three times over the weekend and also host the annual Alumni Game on Saturday.

The action gets started at 4 p.m., Friday for the first of three scrimmages for players on the current KU team.

On Saturday, the KU baseball alumni will be at Hoglund Ballpark for pre-game batting practice at 3 p.m,, followed by the annual Alumni Baseball Game, which is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.

At 6 p.m. Saturday, the current Jayhawks will again take the field for their second scrimmage of the weekend. The final KU scrimmage will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The alumni game as well as all intrasquad scrimmages are open to the public and are free of charge.
