Late Night to be Streamed Live Online

<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>LAWRENCE, Kan. – Jayhawks faithful from around the globe will be able to access live streaming video of the 23rd Annual edition of “Late Night in the Phog” exclusively on www.kuathletics.com. Jayhawks AT&T All-Access will allow Kansas fans to join the men’s and women’s basketball teams as they celebrate the opening of their respective seasons at Allen Fieldhouse on October 12. <?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

“Late Night” begins at 6:45 p.m. Central Standard time. Some of the features include music by the KU pep band, video highlights, introductions, scrimmages and performances by the KU men’s and women’s basketball teams.

This year’s Late Night will include an appearance by NFL Hall of Famer and former Jayhawk great John Riggins. Riggins will be added to the Kansas Athletics Ring of Honor at Memorial Stadium the following day during the KU-Baylor football game.

For those looking to attend Late Night, admission is free and the doors will open at 6 p.m. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. As is tradition at Late Night, fans are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items, which Kansas Athletics will donate to local food pantries.

Upon entry, all fans will receive Jayhawk flip drums courtesy of People’s Bank. Children 12 and under will not be admitted without an adult, and the Fieldhouse doors will be closed when the arena reaches capacity.
