KU Soccer Announces Cross-Promotion with Late Night in the Phog

LAWRENCE, Kan. –
Kansas Athletics has announced that the first 1,000 fans in attendance for the Jayhawks’ Friday soccer match with <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” />OklahomaState at 4 p.m., will receive a voucher that guarantees admission to Late Night in the Phog, KU’s annual tipoff to the basketball season. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />
Fans wishing to receive a Late Night voucher must arrive at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex prior to halftime. Vouchers will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
At the conclusion of the soccer match, fans with vouchers may redeem them for a Late Night ticket from the marketing staff as they exit the Jayhawk Soccer Complex through the main gate.
Fans must then use their Late Night tickets to enter Allen Fieldhouse through the southwest door by 6:45 p.m. to be guaranteed admission. After that, fans with tickets may enter the Fieldhouse through the normal entrances.
Allen Fieldhouse doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 23rd annual Late Night festivities, which begin at 6:45 p.m. Admission to Late Night is free and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Fieldhouse doors will be closed when the arena has reached capacity.
General admission tickets to Kansas soccer matches are $6 for adults, $4 for youth and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased at the gate or in advance at www.kuathletics.com or by calling the Kansas Athletics Ticket Office at 800-34-HAWKS.
