Kansas baseball has been featured in a Rivals.com article titled “Five Keys to the Fall”. National college baseball writer Kendall Rogers discusses the team’s chances of reaching the school’s first College World Series since 1993.

The Jayhawks return 19 letterwinners as well as six position starters from last year’s squad, which finished 39-24 and reached the final round of the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional. Included in KU’s returning players are junior infielder Tony Thompson, who won the Big 12 Triple Crown last season, junior outfielder Brian Heere, who hit .364 with a .459 on-base percentage and junior right-handed pitcher T.J. Walz, who went 8-3 with a 4.70 ERA and recorded 88 strikeouts in 82 1/3 innings.

KU is in the third week of its fall practice season, which will conclude the first weekend in November.
