LAWRENCE, Kan. –

October 14 marks the 21st annual Late Night in the Phog presented by Peoples Bank. This year’s event can be seen worldwide for those who subscribe to SBC Jayhawk All-Access via the Kansas Athletics web site.

Doors open for the event at 5:30 p.m. (Central). Due to the construction of the Booth Family Hall of Athletics, only the north and south entrances will be in service for Late Night. Programing begins at 6:30 p.m. and will run until 9:15 p.m. Included will be videos, band and spirit squad performances, women’s and men’s basketball team introductions, scrimmages and much more.

Kansas will be showcased on ESPNU from 8-9 p.m. Bob Carpenter and Fran Fraschilla are the talent as KU is the third stop on ESPNU’s Midnight Madness show. Other schools featured include Memphis, Kentucky, Michigan State and Oregon.

SBC Jayhawk All-Access is a great way for people worldwide to see what is happening in KU athletics. Click here for a listing of events that are streamed on the Web.

Due to the construction, the Kansas Athletics ticket office will be set up in the north end of Allen Fieldhouse during Late Night. KU fans may be able to purchase football tickets, men’s and women’s season tickets, etc.

One of the many traditions for Late Night in the Phog presented by Peoples Bank is collecting food for the Lawrence area food pantries. This tradition will continue, as local food pantries will be taking donations of non-perishable food items at the doors of Allen Fieldhouse. Additionally, KU will also ask for monetary donations for hurricane relief efforts.
