KU Baseball Announces Weekly Honorees

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Kansas baseball coach Ritch Price announced his weekly honorees for weeks three and four of Fall Ball. Honorees were selected by the Kansas coaching staff for their outstanding efforts.

For the third week of practice (Sept. 30-Oct. 4), freshman Jason Brunansky was named the Player of the Week, while freshman pitcher Lee Ridenhour earned Pitcher of the Week honors. Junior infielder Robby Price turned in the plus-play of the week.

For the fourth week of practice (Oct. 6-11), senior Preston Land was named the Player of the Week, while sophomore T.J. Walz was named the Pitcher of the Week. Junior transfer David Narodowski made the plus-play of the week.

The Jayhawks will resume practice Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark. The team will scrimmage on Tuesday at 3 p.m., and then take the rest of the week off for fall break. All scrimmages are free of charge and open to the public.
