Booth Family Hall of Athletics to Reopen

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The Booth Family Hall of Athletics, which will be open temporarily during Friday evening’s Late Night in the Phog, will close this weekend and reopen for normal hours next Monday, October 19.

The Hall, on the east side of Allen Fieldhouse, has been closed for renovations since last April. It will be open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Times may vary on basketball game days.

The Hall boasts new interactive elements, including a radio “booth” that allows fans to simulate radio calls of historic KU plays. The Hall also now includes a Champions case that contains replicas of KU’s five national championship trophies.

Renovations to the Hall are part of a $42-million project that includes new locker facilities for the men’s and women’s basketball teams, a new practice facility, a donor atrium on the west side of Allen Fieldhouse, and new concession stands.
