KU in 14th After Two Rounds at Price's NMSU Invitational

After day two and 36 holes of Price’s “Give `Em Five Fund”/New Mexico State Invitational Tuesday, the University of Kansas women’s golf team is in 14th place with a two-round score of 626 (313-313).

Missouri moved up four spots to first place after two rounds shooting 594 (302-292) at the par-72, 6,319-yard New Mexico State University Golf Course. Host school New Mexico State is two strokes behind the top spot in second place with a two-round score of 596 (304-292).

Senior Amanda Costner is in a tie for 24th place after two rounds with 152 (75-77), while freshman Emily Powers tied for 35th place with 154 (78-76).

Junior Annie Giangrosso is in a tie for 51st place, and tied for 74th is freshman Meghan Gockel with a two-round score of 163 (81-82). Senior Jill Womble is in 84th place with 173 shots (88-85).

The three-day tournament will continue with the final round Wednesday at 8 a.m. (MST).
