Kansas Men Finish In 17th At The Prestige

La Quinta, Calif. –

The University of Kansas men’s golf team finished in 17th place, in an 18-team field, at The Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif. Kansas shot a second round 304 followed by a final round of 307 for a two day total of 920.

UCLA took home first place with an 860, while BYU placed second with an 870.

Junior Gary Woodland placed in a tie for 17th after 70 and 71 in the second and third rounds, respectively. Senior Pete Krsnich tied for 59th with a 229. Senior Luke Trammell tied for 72nd with a 232. Freshman Zach Pederson placed in 85th with a 240. Junior placed 90th after a three round total of 255.

The Jayhawks will be back in action at the Del Walker Classic in Long Beach, Calif. on Nov. 3-4.
