Coaches' Poll Ranks Kansas Soccer at an All-Time High

LAWRENCE, Kan. – After reaching the Top 10 for the first time this season, the University of Kansas soccer team received its highest-ever ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Tuesday. This week the Jayhawks appear at No. 6, up two spots from last week when they reached their previous high in the poll.

The Jayhawks, who are riding a six-game winning streak, are ranked in the Top 10 in three of the four major college polls this week. In SoccerBuzz’s Top 30, Kansas remained at No. 6, while the `Hawks jumped from No. 13 to No. 8 in the Soccer Times Top 25. Soccer America’s Top 25 is the only national ranking which did not place KU in the Top 10, as they appear at No. 11 in this week’s edition.

This season, Kansas has compiled a 14-2-0 overall record including a 6-1 mark in Big 12 play and has appeared in the Top 10 in at least one of the national rankings in seven of eight weeks.
