Head of the Iowa Regatta Canceled

Oct. 24, 2007

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas rowing has suffered its first schedule change of the year as the Head of the Iowa Regatta has been canceled due to high water. The regatta was scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 28 in Iowa City, Iowa but the University of Iowa’s Athletic Department has ruled the river’s current conditions to be unsafe.

Kansas’ next action will be in Chattanooga, Tenn. for the Head of the Chattahoochee on Nov. 3-4.
