“We were really pleased with how we swam today,” head coach Clark Campbell said. “We knew Mizzou was going to be ready for us and they swam great. We swam good, but not quite great. We had a lot of in season best-times and we did a great job in a tough, rival meet. Our goal was to control our approach and our racing, and we did great.”

Lawrence native, freshman Ashley Robinson’s performance in the 500-yard freestyle (4:59.86) earned the Jayhawks four points and Robinson a second-place finish, as well as a lifetime-best time in her specialty event.

The Jayhawks return home to host the Panthers from the University of Northern Iowa on November 3 beginning at 6 p.m. and November 4 beginning at 10 a.m. at Robinson Natatorium.
