Kansas trails Colorado, 9-0, after the first half of play at Memorial Stadium behind three Mason Crosby field goals.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

After both teams stalled on their opening drives, Colorado was able to get on the board first when Crosby converted a 37-yard field goal, to give the Buffaloes a 3-0 lead.

CU was able to add to their advantage mid-way through the second quarter when Crosby hit a 26-yard field goal. Crosby added his third field goal with less than a minute left before intermission.

The Jayhawks drove twice into Buffalo territory before being stopped, once on a fourth-down attempt and once on an interception. Senior wide receiver Brian Murph caught three passes from Adam Barmann for the Jayhawks in the first half of play.

The Jayhawk defense was able to keep the Buffaloes out of the end zone and limit them to 43 passing yards and 135 total yards in the first half.
