2005-06 Women's Basketball Tickets On Sale

Lawrence, Kan. — University of Kansas women’s basketball season ticket packages are on sale for the 2005-06 season. The Jayhawks play 21 games in Allen Fieldhouse including two exhibition contests, 11 non-conference games and eight matchups with Big 12 foes.

Prices are $96 for adults, $77 for faculty and staff and $48 for senior citizens (55 and over) and youth (17 and under). KU students are admitted free with a valid KU student ID.

In addition, single game tickets are available at a cost of $6 for adults and $3 for youth. The Kansas State game has been designated a premium game and all tickets will be $15.

Groups of 20 or more may receive a discount for all games except the Kansas State game. The group price is $2 per ticket.

For the second year in a row, Kansas Athletics will be offering the “Phog 4 Pack.” For $24, KU fans receive a ticket to the Texas, Nebraska, Missouri and K-State games.

Members of the Williams Educational Fund who purchase season tickets will receive two (2) priority points per account regardless of the number of tickets purchased.

Kansas, under the direction of second year head coach Bonnie Henrickson, enters the 2005-06 season picked to finish sixth in the Big 12 Conference. Led by seniors Crystal Kemp, Erica Hallman and Kaylee Brown, the Jayhawks feature six returning players and six newcomers. KU opens the exhibition season on Sunday, Nov. 6 against Pittsburg State in Allen Fieldhouse at 1 p.m.
