KU's Dudley Named A Big 12 Community Of Champions Honoree

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football linebacker Drew Dudley was named a Big 12 Conference Chick-Fil-A Fall Community of Champions honoree. The conference recognizes one athlete from each institution, regardless of sport, based on academics, community service and leadership/sportsmanship.

Dudley, a junior from College Station, Texas, was an Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection last year while majoring in civil engineering. He is an active member in KU’s student-athletes’ service projects.

On the field he is KU’s leading tackler through eight games with 57 stops from his starting linebacker position. His 7.5 tackles for loss also top the team, while his three sacks are fourth on the team.
